Karpagam ("Jeeks") Rajagopal's main roles at Broomfield Academy include assisting classroom teachers, assisting in the front office and working in the extended-day and lunch program. She also holds a substitute teacher authorization from the State of Colorado. She holds a Master's degree in Zoology from University of Madras in Chennai, India and also completed coursework requirements towards a Master's from Rice University in TX. She grew up in India and moved to the United States 25 years ago. She has lived in New York, Texas, and Pennsylvania and worked as a public librarian in Fallon, Nevada for over 15 years before moving to Colorado. She and her husband have two children who are currently in college at Cornell and MIT. She enjoys walks, word puzzles, trivia, cooking and a good laugh. She is a voracious reader, a member of MENSA and has appeared on the game show "Jeopardy."
