Khristy Dean is the art teacher at Broomfield Academy. She has a bachelor's degree in Art History from Colorado State with a minor in interior design. She taught first, second, and seventh grades at a private school in the Los Angeles area before moving back to Colorado several years ago. She spent several years running her own wholesale business until feeling the pull of teaching once again. She participated in the Elementary Education licensure program from Regis University and is excited about teaching art to the wonderful students of Broomfield Academy. She believes art for children is about the process, not the product.
