Honor Hingston - Substitute Teacher

Honor Hingston has taught Jr. Kindergarten at Broomfield Academy. She current works as one of the substitute teachers at the school. She holds a master's degree in Elementary Education from Pace University and a bachelor's degree in Art and Architecture from Smith College, in Northampton, Massachusetts. Ms. Hingston began teaching with Teach For America, and taught first grade for two years at Public School 396 in the Bronx, NY. Ms. Hingston also taught first grade for a charter school network in New Haven, CT, where she and her students put on the first play in the history of the school, a student-written version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears! Ms. Hingston grew up on a farm in Vermont, and loves to grow tomatoes. She also likes making toys in her garage, baking cakes and drawing in her sketchbook.
