Mrs. Kateryna Perry teaches swimming at Broomfield Academy. She grew up in Ukraine, where she was a competitive swimmer on the national Ukrainian swim team. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Physical Education and Swimming in Ukraine. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Sport Psychology. After moving to the United States, she earned her Red Cross and YMCA certifications, works as a professional lifeguard and as is certified in CPR and as a First Aid Rescuer. Kateryna speaks Russian, Ukrainian and English. When not teaching, she likes to spend time outside, running or walking. She enjoys gardening, likes to read and loves to learn about different cultures.
